Y-gasket Disassembly If the sector shaft is going to be fixed on the bench vice during disassembly, be sure to protect the sector shaft with cloth or other soft material. 1. Side Cover Gradually turn the adjuster screw (1) clockwise, and the side cover assembly will be lifted. Thus, you can separate the side cover assembly (2) from the sector shaft assembly (3).
