REMINDER ● The anchorage lever is located on the bevel at the rear end of the seat cushion and is visible by pressing the lower part of the trim cover. After the child restraint is removed, press the upper part of the cover back to its original place. Installing child restraint systems: 1. Open the anchorage lever trim cover and install the child restraint system to the seat. 2. Open the anchor support cover. 3. Fasten the snap hook to the anchor support and tighten the top tether to ensure the strap is buckled securely.
WARNING ① Top tether ● When using the lower anchoring device, make sure that no foreign objects are around the anchoring device and that the seat belt is not stuck behind the child restraint; make sure that the child restraint is securely fixed. Otherwise, emergency braking or an accident may result in serious or even fatal injury to the child. ② Anchor support ③ Snap hook ● Child restraint anchorages are designed to withstand only those loads imposed by correctly fitted child restraints. Under no circumstances are they to be used for adult seat belts, harnesses, or for attaching other items or equipment to the vehicle.
CAUTION ● Push/Pull the child restraint in different directions to ensure it is securely installed. 24
