The SmartController is designed to work with the eMB- 40M and the SmartVision MX vision controller. The SmartController adds support for four additional conveyors, as well as other options. The SmartController EX uses the eV+ Operating System (as does the eMB-40M). It offers scalability and support for IEEE 1394-based digital I/O and general motion expansion modules.
