Appliance backside view Typical washing-machine example: slide the top cover back and (if necessary) remove the plastic shield from the electronic board using the plastic tips, which you find at each end. In some types of appliance you only need to open the plastic tip that protects the interface connector in the electronic board. Connect the adapter module to the appliance using the interface cable as shown in the following picture. Fig. 19. Appliance with adapter connected Connect back the appliance to the power supply and turn it on. Turn on the adapter module (if it has a separate power supply).
