1.1.5.1.3.3 Sound insulation In vibration, the meaning of sound insulation is the decoupling of components and systems. Examples:  In automotive engineering, the closest thing to sound insulation technology is rubber mats. It acts like a spring.  The effect of decoupling depends on the structure of the component. 1.1.5.1.3.4 Absorption  Sound will reflect on hard surfaces.  It will be absorbed if it encounters a soft outer surface. The effect depends on the material and thickness of the absorbing object. Examples:  All sound insulation components such as door trim, carpet, roof, luggage rack and seats are isolated from the body.

 This will directly reflect the sound waves and reduce the Hall effect. 1.1.5.1.4 Noise and vibration phenomena on vehicles The degree of noise felt by passengers in different positions in the car is also different. The sound/noise wave (standing wave) of the vehicle is shown in the figure below: 23 Project Part name Description 1 - Undamped vibration 2 - Damped vibration Project Part name Description 1 - Reflected wave 2 - Attracting waves
