Chapter 4 Maintenance Preparing for Transport Follow the steps below to transport the printer. Do not take the ink cartridge out of the printer when transporting it. Do not leave the printer without ink cartridge. Doing so may result in drying print head and clogging. CAUTION 1 Turn the power off. 2 Verify that the power lamp is off. 3 Remove the paper. 4 Secure the ink cartridge cover and the right side of the printer with tape. 4 5 Pack the printer upright. 127
