Drum motor (M2) The drum motor (M2) is a two-phase stepping motor, and drives the transfer drum and the imaging drum. For overhead transparencies and glossy or heavy media, the motor rotates at low speed (OHT mode: 1/4 speed rotation; glossy and heavy media: 1/3 speed rotation).
