Toyota — Руководство по эксплуатации Toyota Climate Control — Обучение (EN)

Objectives 752 Air Conditioning and Climate Control Course 752 Air Conditioning and Climate Control Final Student Performances Terminal Objective (Terminal FSP) Given access to TIS, all of the applicable tools, equipment, and appropriate vehicles, the technician will be able to:

• Diagnose and repair Toyota Air-conditioning Systems using approved resources, tools and procedures • Operate Toyota-specified recovery/recycling equipment to recover, recycle, evacuate, and recharge vehicle A/C systems • Demonstrate a working understanding of the principles of the automatic air-conditioning system by completing the assigned “hands-on” activities Technician Objectives (FSPs) The Technician will be able to: 1. Outline safety and environmental concerns regarding Air Conditioning refrigerants. 2. Outline EPA requirements for refrigerant handling certification. 3. Research information on TIS related to the Air Conditioning Systems in Toyota vehicles. 4.

Locate and identify A/C System key features, components, controls and refrigerant line fittings (Conventional, Automatic, and Hybrid). 5. Identify the function and role of each component in the over-all system operation. 6. Differentiate between different types of A/C Compressors, Condensers, Evaporators, Receiver/Dryers, Switches, Pressure Sensors, and other components. 7. Evaluate A/C Systems for proper operation. 8. Use the “touch diagnosis” method to identify possible problems with the A/C System. 9. Identify maintenance-related issues that affect A/C System operation. 10. Inspect and test A/C System components. 11. Locate under hood specification labels on a vehicle. 12.

Use specialized service and test equipment including refrigerant identifier, refrigerant recovery/charge station and leak detection equipment. 13. Inspect refrigerant pressures, identify improper change amounts, and diagnose A/C System problems based upon manifold pressure gauge set readings. 14. Differentiate between the type and quantity of oil used for each system. Technical Training a
