AS-4000 User’s Guide Product Overview Introducing Features The following explains the main features of this product. Creating ICC Profiles Even if you specify the same color, it may be printed using a completely different tint depending on the display device or press you are using. The ICC profile is composed of settings for color input devices such as scanners, output devices such as displays and presses, and data that characterizes the color space. This product allows you to create an ICC profile for output. When introducing a new substrate, adding print information, or performing color matching for spot colors, create an ICC profile as necessary.

When creating a print job using Epson Edge Print Label, specify an ICC profile that was created in advance to output colors that match the substrate. If you are using multiple presses, you can also copy the ICC profile and print settings created on the main press and use them together with calibration data and so on, to perform color matching between presses. Color Matching for Spot Colors Epson Edge Print Label's group spot color adjustment feature automatically measures multiple registered spot colors and adjusts the output colors.
