2.1 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS SAFETY LIGHTING The Shovel must only be operated when the operator has suffi- cient visibility in relation to the work area. Disturbing shady areas or dazzling effects must be avoided. If necessary, the Shovel must be retrofitted with lighting equip- ment (working lights) in order to ensure sufficient visibility condi- tions. WARNING BEACON The Shovel can be retrofitted with a warning beacon which is fit- ted on the cab roof by means of a magnetic bracket. NOTICE The above-mentioned special safety devices can be ordered as accessories together with the Shovel. They are also available as a field package for installation through our service organization. 26
