This Repair Manual describes worksteps which can be performed in installed and removed condition. Make sure that the transmission is sufficiently supported/secured by appropriate fixtures to avoid any accidents! When doing repairs on a transmission which is installed in the vehicle, observe the vehicle manufacturer’s safety regulations.
