1.1 CYLINDER BLOCK AND CYLINDER LINER NOTICE: The camshaft is mounted in the cylinder head so resurfacing of the block affects the position of the camshaft in relation to the adjustable idler gear and gear train. Record the amount of stock removed from the cylinder block by stamping the amount removed on the cylinder block pad. See Figure 1-15.
