OPERATION 7. KICKDOWN SWITCH When the speed control lever is in 2nd, and the switch at the top of the knob of the work equipment control lever is pressed, the transmission will shift down to 1st gear. This switch is used to increase the drawbar pull in digging operations. REMARKS To cancel the kickdown switch, move the directional lever to REVERSE or NEUTRAL, or move the speed control lever to any position except 2nd. It is also possible to cancel the kickdown switch by operating the parking brake switch or by turning the starting switch OFF. 2-12
