OPERATION OPERATION CHECK FOR WATER AND SEDIMENT IN WATER SEPARATOR, DRAIN WATER (If equipped) The water separator separates water mixed in the fuel. If float (2) is at or above red line (1) , drain the water according to the following procedure. 1. Loosen drain plug (3) and drain the accumulated water until the float reaches the bottom. 2. Tighten drain plug (3). 3. If the air is sucked into fuel line when draining and water, be sure to bleed air in the same manner as for the fuel fil- ter.
