PRECAUTIONS FOR MAINTENENCE SAFETY STOP ENGINE BEFORE CARRYING OUT INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE Stop the machine on firm, level ground. Select a place where there is no hazard of falling rocks or landslides, or of flooding if the land is low. Lower the work equipment completely to the ground and stop the engine. Set safety lock lever (1) and brake lock lever (2) to the LOCK position. Put blocks under the track to prevent the machine from moving. 2-28
