2.20.3. Starting motor The sliding-gear starter motor is flanged to the rear of the flywheel housing on the left-hand side. As parts of every engine overhaul, the starter pinion and ring gear should be cleaned with a brush dipped in fuel and then a coat of grease should be applied again. 24V X 6.6KW Switch terminal Battery terminal(+) Earth terminal(-) M10 x 1.5 EE6OM021 Always protect starter motor against moisture.
