Ch 6 page 10 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Update procedure: Connect the CIF2 interface to the laptop with the USB cable. WARNING The interface must NOT be connected to the ADT diagnostic port when performing the firmware upgrade. 1. Open the CANPC program. 2. Open the Extra tab and select “CIF2 firmware upgrade”. 3. Select the upgrade tab to install the newer version into the interface. Verify the update by confirming that the current and the new software are the same. Figure 13 4.
