LIFTING THE EXCAVATOR Procedure WARNING AVOID INJURY OR DEATH Use a lifting fixture with sufficient capacity for the weight of the excavator plus any added attachments. Maintain center of gravity and balance when lifting. Do not swing boom or upperstructure. Never lift with operator on machine. W-2434-0502 Figure 10-11-1 2 1 P-32909 Fully retract the boom cylinder and fully extend the arm and bucket cylinders so the excavator is in the position as shown [Figure 10-11-1] . Raise the blade all the way. Put all the control levers in neutral. Stop the engine.
