The following information is found on the ECM dataplate: ECM part number (PN) ECM serial number (SN) ECM date code (DC) Engine serial number (ESN) ECM Code (identifies the software in the ECM). NOTE: The presence of an ECM dataplate depends on the manufacturing plant and the date the engine was manufactured. If an ECM dataplate was not installed by the manufacturing plant, calibration data can be found on the engine dataplate.
