CHECKING HOOK G When lifting a load, carry out the following checks to confirm that there is no abnormality before starting operations. Check that there are no cracks or deformation in the lift- ing equipment.
Check that there is no abnormality in the stopper device. HOOKING WIRE ROPE SECURELY TO HOOK G When performing lifting operation, securely hook the wire rope onto the special lifting hook or lifting eye. PRECAUTIONS FOR MACHINE INSTALLATION G After carrying out a preliminary inspection of ground condi- tions, select a flat, solid location. Confirm that the machine can be safely operated without toppling or rolling. PROHIBITED OPERATIONS OTHER THAN MAIN APPLICA- TIONS G When performing lifting operation, never raise or lower a per- son.
NO PERSONS SHALL BE PERMITTED TO ENTER THE WORKING AREA G Due to the possible danger of the load falling or of collision with the load, no persons shall be allowed in the working area. 32
