Crankshaft, Main Bearings and Flywheel 2. Remove mounting cap screws and flywheel. IMPORTANT: Never reuse flywheel mounting cap screws. Always install new. Inspect pilot bushing, if equipped, for wear or damage. Replace if necessary using a driver set. Install bushing flush with flywheel surface. Measure flywheel flatness. Place a straight edge across flywheel surface opposite of ring gear. Measure clearance between straight edge and flywheel surface with a feeler gauge. If clearance exceeds 0.02 mm (0.0008 in.) , replace flywheel. 1 FLYWHEEL HOUSING - 3TNA72 (15 EX, 3009 OEM) 1. Remove flywheel. (See procedure in this group.) 2. Remove starter.
