MAINTENANCE 3. Direct dry, compressed air, lower than 7 kg/cm (100 psi), to the 2 element from the inside along its folds. Then direct it from the outside along its folds and again from the inside. A. Remove one seal from the outer element whenever the outer element has been cleaned. B. Replace the outer element which has been cleaned six times repeatedly or used throughout a year. Replace the inner element at the same time. C. If a red dust indicator appears immediately after the outer element has been cleaned, replace both the inner and outer elements, especially if the outer element has not been cleaned six times. 4.
Check the inner element mounting nuts for looseness and, if necessary, retighten them. Replace the seal washer (5) or wing nut (4) with new parts, if they are broken. WA450-3MC 3-27
