Valve housing and worm shaft assembly Disassembly 1. Piston Assembly Hold the housing with the piston end facing down- ward, and turn the stub shaft counterclockwise. Then, the worn shaft can be removed from the pis- ton. Caution: The steel ball put in the ball race for the piston and worm shaft will drop inside of the piston. Be careful not to let the piston fall down.
