Hardware 3.6 Digital outputs Digital outputs are the connection to external actuators (re- lays, contactors, solenoids, valves...). They connect to the controller by screw-type locking terminals ( а illustrations in chapter 3.2). You can control resistive and inductive loads. Free-wheeling diodes suppress inductive switch-off peaks. The output status is indicated by LEDs.
