Configuring the scanner driver If you are setting up the product without the CD installer, or if you want to use the product by switching the connection method between USB and wireless, you need to configure software on your computer. Check the following items before you start.
❏ If you want to use the product wirelessly when there are multiple scanners in your network, you need the IP address of the product you want to use. See Network Guide for details. ❏ Your product is turned on, and if you want to use a wireless connection, your product is connected to a wireless network. Note for Windows: Log in as a user with administrator’s authority, and then install. If you are asked to enter an administrator’s password, enter the password, and then continue with the operations.
