The position is predicted 32 milliseconds in the future, based upon the current position and velocity. The value is scaled the same as the current position described above. 4 Read Latched Position The position or the encoder (in millimeters) when the last external trigger occurred is returned. The LATCHED real-valued function may be used to determined when an external trigger has occurred and a valid position has been recorded.
