3.8. Checking the Height with the Foreign Material Detection Sensor Check that the foreign material detection sensor is operating normally. 1. Before starting work, check the detection threshold value with nothing placed on the belt. Check the foreign material detection sensor display on the front panel to confirm that the displayed value is 4,000 or higher. 2. Place the hex key (width: 2 mm) or feeler gauge (2 mm) on the front right of the belt. 3. Feed the belt in the reverse direction to the position where the hex key or feeler gauge is exposed the sensor laser beam.
