The connector must be pressed toward pipe by hand through the transport bar until the profile of the pipe expander is centred within the inner diameter of the pipe. 7) Use the appropriate lever to push the connector into the pipe to the end of the expansion pin. It is advisable to exercise continu- ous pressure while doing this. 8) Release the locking jaws, position the special bands up to 5+ 1 mm from the collar and press using the manual pliers (C).
