Chapter 1 DC System Battery Management The battery pack is an important component of the DC system, and good monitoring, maintenance and management of the battery is particularly important. PM series The monitoring system has advanced battery management functions and can manage the battery strictly according to the battery's charge and discharge curve. 1. Charging process When the equipment is connected to the power supply, the charging device can be put into operation through automatic or manual control. The equipment operates in three states (ie, main charging, equalizing charging, and floating charging). Their charging processes are described below. я Main charging state:

Main charging means that the device charges the battery with a constant current at the set "charging current" value. When the battery voltage rises to the level of equal charging When the voltage reaches the setting value, the device automatically switches to the constant voltage charging state, and the main charging ends at this time. This state is mainly used for battery activation or initial charging. After the capacity is reached, when the charging current is я0.07C and the current is maintained for 10 seconds, the system will switch to equalizing charging. You can also enter the equalizing charging process manually. Equal charge я Equalized charging state:

Equalized charging means that the device begins to charge the battery with a constant current at the set "charging current". System set up battery After the time is reached, the device automatically switches to the float charging state, so the equalizing charging state has a constant current and voltage limiting function. я Float charging state: Floating charging means that the equipment charges the battery with constant voltage (suspended voltage value) in a constant voltage manner, so that the battery is always at full capacity. When the system detects that the battery current is я0.02C, it will delay for 2 hours and switch to float charging.

If during the 2-hour delay, the total equalizing charging time reaches Set the equalizing charging time and it will immediately switch to floating charging. 2. Operation when main power supply is interrupted When the main power supply is interrupted or reduced (the backup power supply has power), the bypass power supply automatically comes into operation, and the DC power supply will continue to work normally without worrying about Interruption of main power supply to the heart. 3.

Operation when both main power supply and backup power supply are cut off When both the power supply and the backup power supply are cut off, the voltage on the DC output bus is maintained by the discharge of the battery pack. The line provides a stable DC voltage, and the work will not be affected by the AC power outage. 4. Battery installation and maintenance я Use insulated tools. я Installers should remove all metal objects (such as watches, rings) from their bodies before installation. я Wear protective glasses and rubber gloves. я Do not place metal/wires and hardware (such as wrenches, etc.) on the battery. я When connecting the battery, make sure the polarity is correct.

The positive pole of the battery system is connected to the positive pole of the charger, and the negative pole is connected to the negative pole of the charger. я The distance between batteries should be at least 5-10mm to allow for convection. я Before installing the battery or when cleaning the battery, use a clean wet rag to wipe away the debris on the pole and surface. Do not use organic cleaners or Other unknown cleaning agents. я When connecting the battery, make sure the connection is firm and there is no looseness or torque, otherwise the battery will be easily damaged during subsequent charging and discharging. —-7--
