Front side airbags are designed to prevent front seat occupants from injuring their chest, shoulders, and hips during a collision. The passenger airbag switch is located on the passenger end of the instrument panel and can be accessed when the passenger door is open. To deactivate the airbag: 1 Pull out the switch. 2 Turn to OFF . 3 Release the switch. To activate the airbag: 1 Pull out the switch. 15
