Tutorial: Building a Simple Project Downloading your project to a Windows Embedded device This part of the tutorial shows how to download your project to a Windows Embedded device, such as a plant- floor HMI panel. After configuring a project and testing it locally (on the development station), you can download it to a remote station — either a Windows PC that is running IWS or a Windows Embedded device that is running EmbeddedView or CEView. 1.
