ES300 — OUTLINE OF NEW FEATURES ES300 OUTLINE OF NEW FEATURES The ES300, which is favorably received as a distinctive sporty personal sedan, offers the following changes in the 2001 model. 1. Exterior The washer nozzles have been changed from the previous 2 to 3 nozzles to improve the cleaning performance of the windshield glass. 2. Interior A genuine leather with wood steering wheel has been provided as optional equipment. 3. Body An internal trunk release handle is included inside the trunk in case a person inadvertently locks oneself within the trunk and needs to free oneself.

The handle is made of phosphorescent so that it is visible in the trunk for a while even after the trunk has been closed. 173ES01
