LEXUS Navigation System Through the use of the GPS (Global Positioning System) and map data in a DVD (Digital Versatile Disc), this navigation system analyzes the position of the vehicle and indicates that position on the map that is displayed on the screen. This system provides voice instructions guide the driver through the route to reach the destination that has been selected. The control switches of the LEXUS navigation system have been located on the floor console to improve their ease of use. 16. Electrical Back Door Outside Handle System Electrical back door outside handle system has been adopted on IS300 SportCross (5-Door).
This system is provided with a switch in the back door outside handle to open the back door electrically. Automatic Glare-Resistant EC Mirror An automatic glare resistant EC (electrochromic) mirror system has been adopted for the inside and out- side rear view mirrors as an option.
Compass display has been built-in to the automatic glare-resistant EC mirror (inside rear view mirror) on models without GPS (Global Positioning System) voice navigation as optional equipment and enables the driver to grasp the direction ahead without moving one’s eyes greatly. 19.
