General Dual-stage SRS airbag system has been adopted for driver airbag, that controls the airbag deployment out- put optimum by judging the extent of impact, seat position and whether or not the seat belt is fasten. In accordance with the adoption of the Dual-stage SRS airbag system, a seat position sensor has been es- tablished for the driver seat. The Airbag sensor assembly transmits the airbag deployment signal to the door lock ECU via the BEAN (Body Electronics Area Network) and sends in addition directly the airbag deployment signal to the door lock ECU via Theft deterrent ECU for collision door lock release function. 2.
