42 LX470 — OUTLINE OF NEW FEATURES LX470 OUTLINE OF NEW FEATURES The following changes are made for the 2005 model year. 1. 2UZ-FE Engine The ECM outputs the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) to the hand-held tester for OBD II (On-Board Diagnosis II). 2. LEXUS Link System Cellular networks in the United States are changing from analog to digital. Therefore, LEXUS stopped production of analog LEXUS Link system. However, the microphone for the LEXUS link system is continued for use with voice recognition.
