When the vehicle is moving and the occupants in the vehicle still have not fastened their seatbelts, the seatbelt warning light will flash, and an audible warning signal will be issued at the same time when the vehicle reaches a certain speed or mileage. Seatbelts VESPER Seatbelts function In case of a collision, wearing a seat belt correctly can reduce personal injury and avoid the damage caused by secondary collision. The reminders alert the occupants as the following ways: ■ Seatbelt warning light and indicator icon on instrument cluster.
■ Seatbelt indicator in the overhead console. ■ An audible warning signal. Before travelling, all passengers must fasten seatbelts correctly. Do not tie the belts incorrectly or curl them. Otherwise, you may be injured or killed in an accident. Warning! Some models sold on the market are not equipped with the roof console seat belt indicator and the rear seat belt not fastened warning system. Note! ■ Each seatbelt is for one person only. Do not share a seatbelt with another person. Do not place a baby or child on your laps, but use the specified child protection device. ■ Do not modify, remove the seatbelt or install devices that may change the seatbelt orientation or tension.
■ The seatbelt system should be inspected after any collision by a Lynk & Co Center. Some of the seatbelt's protective properties may fail even if the seatbelt does not appear damaged. The seatbelt must be replaced if either damage or improper operation is noted.
