IN CASE OF EMERGENCY ■ During towing, put the gear lever into N position. ■ Be prepared to apply the brakes to stop the vehicle being towed at any time. Using the towing eyelet VESPER 1 Take out the towing eyelet from its storage area in the cargo compartment. Warning! Drivers without relevant experience must not carry out towing operation. Caution! If, after a serious collision, you cannot shift the gear lever into N position, or shift from P position into other positions, or turn the steering wheel, or the wheels are locked, the vehicle cannot be flat-towed, otherwise the vehicle may be seriously damaged.
Towing of vehicle with battery discharged If the vehicle battery is discharged, Lynk & Co recommends that you use a booster battery for jump starting your vehicle. Note! Caution! The towing eyelet is placed in the on-board tool kit under the cargo compartment. Do not attempt to start the vehicle by towing, otherwise the vehicle may be seriously damaged. 2Open the traction cover as shown below. Note! It is not possible to override the P position manually if the vehicle battery is discharged. Use a booster battery or contact a towing service. 236
