HYBRID Caution! Charging issues ■ Do not insert the charging gun into the vehicle charging socket when the mechanical unlocking device of charging gun is not working properly, as this will prevent the gun from being removed. ■ Press the button on the charging gun when inserting the gun. ■ Do not operate violently during charging, as this may damage the vehicle. ■ Mischarging operation will produce a charging fault, and the LED light will be illuminated in red to send an alarm. After this situation occurs, please pull out the charging gun, and lock the vehicle, wait until the vehicle to sleep before charging operation. If the fault light stays on, please contact a Lynk & Co Center.
VESPER If you experience problems with the charging, there is a number of things you can check. ■ If the amperage setting on the control unit is higher than the ampere of fuse in the 220V AC socket, the fuse will be overloaded and the charging of high voltage battery will be stopped. Even if the amperage setting is lower than that of the fuse in the 220 V AC socket, the fuse can still be overloaded when there are several consumers (such as a vacuum cleaner or an electric drill.) connected with the same fuse. ■ If the ambient temperature is too high or too low, some of the charging current is used to heat or cool the high voltage battery. This could result in a longer charging time.
■ The control unit has a built-in ground fault breaker. If the ground fault breaker is tripped, high voltage battery charging will be interrupted. In this case, check the 220 V AC socket. 3After charging, unlock the charging gun through the unlock button on the remote key. 4Press the button on the charging handle to remove the charging gun. 5Refit the charging socket cover and close the charging cover. The instrument cluster will also alert you to various errors related to high voltage batteries. When errors occur, please contact Lynk & Co Center. Caution! Charging the high voltage battery must only take place with grounded and approved 220 V AC sockets.
If the capacity for the socket or fuse circuit is unknown, ask a licensed electrician to check the capacity. Charging above the capacity of the electrical installations may lead to fire or damage the fuse circuit. Warning! Before closing the charging cover, please make sure that the protective cover of the charging socket is closed. If the charging cover is closed and the protective cover of the charging socket is opened, water or dust may enter the charging socket, which may cause failure. 6Remove the 3-pin connector from the household 220 V power outlet and retract the charging device into the trunk. 51
