Lynk & Co — Hybrid system overview

INSTRUMENT The hybrid system informs you its energy flow in various ways of driving. Each mode of driving specifies its own energy flow. The energy flow display varies, depending on the condition of the vehicle. ■ Tandem Drive : Both the motor and the engine power are used to drive the vehicle (High Voltage Battery -> Motor -> Wheels & Engine -> Wheels). ■ E-charge : The engine power is used to drive the vehicle, drive the motor to generate electricity and charge the high voltage battery (Engine -> Wheels, Engine -> Motor -> High Voltage Battery). ■ Park Charging :

When the vehicle is stationary, the engine drives the motor to generate electricity and charge the high voltage battery (Engine -> Motor -> High Voltage Battery). ■ Energy Recovery : When the vehicle is coasting or braking without the accelerator being depressed, the kinetic energy of the vehicle is converted into electric energy to charge the high voltage battery (Wheels -> Motor -> High Voltage Battery). VESPER Note! The regeneration might be limited due to the following reasons: □ Motor torque limitation. □ Max high voltage battery charging level reached. □ The ambient temperature is low.

□ Due to vehicle speed limitation, no energy is recovered when the vehicle is running below a certain speed. Power regeneration This is an example of the energy flow display. The energy flow display varies, depending on the condition of the vehicle. The energy flow will display: ■ Vehicle power-on, motor and engine not started : The vehicle is stopped, and there is no energy flow. ■ Only motor propulsion : Only the motor is used to drive the vehicle (High Voltage Battery -> Motor -> Wheels). ■ Only engine propulsion : Only the engine power is used to drive the vehicle (Engine -> Wheels). 83
