1 Introduction The NXR-series IO-Link Master Unit for EtherCAT is an EtherCAT slave that provides IO-Link master functions with an environmental resistance of IP67. An NXR-series IO-Link Master Unit for EtherCAT receives data from the EtherCAT master through the EtherCAT network and outputs the data to connected external devices. It also sends the data that is input from connected external devices to the EtherCAT master through the EtherCAT network. This guide will quickly demonstrate how to configure the NXR in the TwinCAT IDE without the use of external software.

3 Hardware Setup • This Section will cover the hardware configuration of the NXR • Connect the 7/8 inch socket to the PWR IN of the NXR.
