ISOFIX provides anchor points to tightly secure the child safety seat. WARNING! • When using ISOFIX anchor points, make sure that there are no foreign objects nearby and that the seat belt is not stuck behind the child protection device. The anchors are located on the cushion of the second row seat. LATCH Installing Child Safety Seat Equipped with LATCH 1. Adjust the second row headrest to the highest position. 2. Pass the top strap of the child safety seat through the underside of the raised headrest, fasten it to the corresponding LATCH anchor, and tighten the top strap. LATCH provides tether anchors to secure a child safety seat flexibly.
The tether anchors are located on the backrest of the second row seats. Installing Child Safety Seat Equipped with ISOFIX 1. Move the corresponding front seat to the foremost position and adjust the seat backrest forward. 2. Place the child safety seat on the second WARNING! row seat. • Do not lower the headrest after installing the child safety seat using LATCH. This is to prevent the headrest from touching the top strap and making it loose. The strap hanging loose can cause the child safety seat to rotate, resulting in serious injury in case of a collision. 3. Secure the lower locking mechanism of the child safety seat to the ISOFIX anchors. 4.
Try to push and pull the child safety seat in different directions to ensure it has been securely installed. 5. Reset and adjust the front seat. • Do not connect multiple top straps to the same LATCH anchor. 42
