Navigation Navigation When the user taps the Drive button, the system will plan a route from the current location to the selected destin- ation. The route planning behavior is the same as desc- ribed in Section Planning a Route using Search. 11 Planning a Route using My Places A user can select a destination by selecting one of the favorite locations or recent destination listed in the My Places menu. The user can also access recently driven destination via My Places menu. Once a favorite location or a recent destination is selected, the user is brought to a map preview mode where user can select the Drive option to plan a route to the selected destination.
12 Planning a Route in advance Users can plan a route in advance by selecting a starting point that is not the same as the current location. A user can select a starting point in the same ways the user can select the destination i.e.via Search, via the map,via My Places, via Parking or via the Petrol Station stoption. Once a location is selected,the user can select the Use as Starting Point option from its contextual menu to set that location as the starting point . 20
