There are same parts on both the left and the right. F Media support Rest media temporarily on these supports when removing the take-up roll. When removing the media, adjust these to match the media width, and then flip the supports forward. G Auto switch Use this switch to set the take-up specifications of the loaded media (whether the printable side is facing in or facing out). When this is set to Off, winding is not performed. H Manual switch Use this switch to take-up manually.
This is available when the Auto switch is set to Off. Move the media loading lever to the back to release the media prior to removal.
There is also a media loading lever at the back that operates in tandem with the lever at the front. Operate whichever is the easiest to use in your situation.
