Setting the DIP Switches Follow the steps below to change the DIP switch settings. Turn the power off before removing the cover. Otherwise, a short-circuit may cause the printer to malfunction. CAUTION DIP switch setting becomes enabled after turning the power on or completing reset by the interface. 1 Make sure that the printer is turned off. 2 Unscrew the screws to remove the rear cover. The DIP switches are on the right side of the printer. Rear cover Screw Screw 3 Set the DIP switches, using the tip of a tool, such as a small screwdriver. 4 Attach the rear cover.
