Communication window on the windscreen Labels and plates Vehicle safety certificates, labels, and plates con- taining important data and information are in- stalled in the engine compartment and certain vehicle components. There is a communication window (blue area) lo- cated beside the interior mirror base on the windscreen. The communication window allows for the reception of electronic signals from exter- nal components.
– When replacing vehicle components with safe- ty certificates, labels, or plates, the new parts should be installed with identical information by Volkswagen dealerships. You can securely insert a chip card into the com- munication window (blue area) beside the interi- or mirror base → Fig. 160 . High voltage warning label The high voltage warning label is located near the bonnet lock and displays a high voltage warning message for the vehicle's electrical sys- tem. Avoid covering the window area of the chip card or placing labels on the chip card. This may dis- rupt the reception of electronic signals and hin- der the proper functioning of related electronic components.
WARNING Fluids in the air conditioning system Improper handling of the vehicle can easily lead to accidents and serious or fatal injuries. ● Always observe the relevant traffic regula- tions. Refrigerant in the air conditioning system The sticker in the engine compartment contains information regarding the type and quantity of refrigerant used in the vehicle's air conditioning system. The sticker is located at the front of the engine compartment, close to the refrigerant fill- er neck. ● Always follow the instructions in this man- ual.
