Electrical System Argo Service Manual Removing the Brake Cooling Fan 1. Remove the engine compartment hood. 2. Locate the brake cooling fan in the front LEFT area of the engine compartment (viewed from the front of the vehicle). Photo 1 3. Remove hose from both intake side and output (blower) side of fan. Photo 2 Unfas- ten gear clamps securing each hose to fan. Photo 3 Photo 1 Photo 2 Photo 3 Photo 4 4. CAREFULLY drill out the (4) rivets at the front of vehicle that secure the fan to the lower body. Photo 4 5. Disconnect the wiring from the fan (2 wires) and pull the assembly out through the front of the vehicle. 6.
