Unplug the ac adapter, if present, and remove the battery. 2. Turn the unit bottom side up. 3. Use a key or flat-blade screwdriver to pop up the hard drive handle. 4. If you are installing a new hard drive that does not have a plastic case, you can remove the case parts from the old hard drive: • Unsnap the two plastic snaps next to the connector and remove the plastic tray.
• Remove the four screws from the sides of the shield. • Remove the hard drive from the shield. • Unplug the connector from the hard drive.
