If the correct media width is not set, the printer may print beyond the edges of the media. Ink used outside the edges of the media will stain the inside of the printer. We recommend this normally be set to On when using the printer. Off Detect Paper Skew On Select whether the printer will stop printing and display an error (On) or whether the printer will continue printing (Off) when skewed media is detected.
We recommend setting this to On when loading media without using the media edge plates, such as when printing on thick media. Off* Nozzle Check between Pages On When On is set, a nozzle check pattern is printed periodically at the specified timing. When printing is complete, you can visually inspect the check pattern to determine whether there are any stripes or unevenness in the preceding or following printout.
