Engine Auto-Start/Stop System The "Use switch to enable" message indicates that the Auto-Start system was cancelled by the operator and is ready to be enabled by pressing the switch. This message will be displayed when attempting to enable the Auto-Start system when the safety interlocks are not satisfied. Make sure all interlocks are satisfied. "XXXX" will indicate the specific interlock which was not satisfied. 3 The Auto-Start system will display the State of Charge (SOC) of the vehicle's starting and auxiliary* batteries while the batteries are charging. Auxiliary batteries are in the separate battery pack included with a factory installed electric air conditioning system.
