If the wor k place is not kept clean and tidy, there is t he dange r that you wi ll trip, slip, or fall ove r and injure yourself.
SELECT SUITABLE PLACE FOR INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE Stop th e machine on firm , level ground. Select a place where ther e is no hazard of landsl ides, fallin g rocks, or ONLY AUTHORIZED PERSO NNEL Do not all ow any unauthoriz ed personnel in to the ar ea when s ervicing the machine. If necess ary, employ a guard. APPOINT LEADER WHEN WORKING WITH OTHERS When rep airing the machine or when removing and installing the work eq uipment, appoint a l eader and follow his instructio ns during the opera tion.
